A well established Israeli producer/director with over 25 years of experience in feature films, TV dramas, and documentary films. As a filmmaker and entrepreneur, Eran had produced over 50 features and TV films/series for the Israeli and international markets. Eran directed several feature films with a careful and critical insight on social problems of the society in which he lives. His films have been officially selected and nominated in major international Film Festivals, among these:



Besides his work as a filmmaker, Doron Eran initiated and published the “Good News” magazine – focused on the positive sides of society, science and the arts. As a writer, he has published the novel “Loneliness Behind the Camera” (1999) and the acclaimed academic book “Being A Producer” (2002) for the Cinema and Television Departments of Israeli universities and colleges.
Over the years, Eran has ventured through many productions and initiatives, receiving professional recognition.

The Sofia Film Festival and TLV Fest has chosen Doron Eran to be on Thier panel of esteemed, international jury.
The 2009 Pune International Film Festival held a retrospective of Doron Eran’s work showcasing 7 of his films.
The 2008 Kolkata Film Festival conducted a retrospective of Doron Eran’s work entitled “Celluloid Pearls”.
Founder and director of the Ashdod International Film Festival over two consecutive years.
